New Work..three new small oils on primed paper. Will be framing them up and making them available on the website first thing in the new year…the subject matter is a familiar one for me but this time I painted on primed paper (Fabriano V) instead of board. Nice surface to work on gives an even softer look than the primed board, the other nice thing is, as they are on paper they will need to be framed under glass so I can have a bit of fun working out the framing. Its best to keep the framing sympathetic to the artwork when framing original work but that said, there is still plenty of room to be creative !
