…….delighted to have one of my paintings hanging in The Hunt Museum for the month of February. The museum selects a different artist each month and invites them to submit one piece as part of their curators choice. The title of the piece is ‘Shannon Estuary’ which is appropriate as The Hunt Museum is located on the banks of the River Shannon in Limerick City. A fantastic museum to visit, the Hunt Collection comprises of approximately 2,000 works of art and antiquities. The building dates from the 18th century, built in the Palladian-style and designed by Davis Ducart in 1765.
